Bout of Books Readathon!

That’s right! I gave in and decided to do a readathon.  Amanda @ On a Book Bender is hosting, and she did not pressure me into this. At. All. *shift eyes* She came up with this great idea, and I figured since I’d be reading anyway, I might as well join up! The readathon runs from August 22 (tomorrow) and wraps up around the 28th.

I was REALLY excited about this because it started at the beginning of the week. That’s when I get the majority of my reading done since I work weekends.

It’s going to be AWESOME!

A group of book bloggers and I actually started a day early, with City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. This is the second time reading for me, but the first all of them. I tried to warn them that The Mortal Instruments was ADDICTING! Book Bender told me “I finished City of Bones….and picked up City of Glass one minute later”. HA! 😉

I’m going to try to update this every day, but it may not happen. Be sure to follow me on Twitter (@violethourbr and #boutofbooks) and see if I’m being a slacker or not! I am SO going to have to host a “Revenge of the Reviews” because of all the reviews I need to write… this readathon is not helping!
